Meet Our Wonderful Elementary Tutors for the 24/25 School Year!

We are thrilled to introduce you to the dedicated team of tutors who will be supporting our students this year.

Lynn has been a resident of Signal Mountain for 38 years and shares her home with her beloved fur baby, Baxter. In her free time, she enjoys reading and creating beautiful greeting cards. Lynn holds a Master’s degree in Special Education and has retired after an impressive 33-year teaching career with Hamilton County. Her passion for helping young people succeed, regardless of their ability level, continues to shine through in all she does.

Carol is a mother of four and, along with her husband, is embracing the joys of being recent empty nesters! With extensive experience working with children through her church ministries, Carol brings a nurturing and encouraging spirit to SMSS. She is excited to help students grow academically while showing them that learning can be both engaging and fun.

Nini is a mom of one and has a deep love for the outdoors—whether it’s hiking, swimming, gardening, or cooking, being in nature brings her joy. But what she is truly passionate about is tutoring and helping children. She finds so much fulfillment in guiding kids as they learn and grow! 

A huge thank you to Bachman Community Center, Thrasher Elementary, and Nolan Elementary for partnering with SMSS and providing space for our tutors to support students. We truly value this collaboration and the opportunity to work together to make a positive impact in our community!
